COVID-19 AMONG DIABETES PATIENTS TYPE 2

A total of 74 COVID-19 diabetic patients were enrolled in the study. Twenty-seven (36.5%) severely ill, and ten (13.5%) died. Severe had higher blood glucose, serum amyloid (SAA), C reactive protein, interleukin 6 levels than non-severe (P> 0.05). lower albumin, cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, small dense low CD4 T lymphocyte counts (P > Reduced 21 + (OR = 0.988, 95 percent confidence interval [95 CI] 0.979–0.997) elevated SAA 1.029, CI 1.002–1.058) found as risk variables for COVID- 19 severity with diabetes a logistic regression analysis 0.05).
